National Security Officer Appreciation Week – How To Thank A Security Officer

This week (September 12 – 19, 2021) marks National Security Officer Appreciation Week.

Security Officers are often the first line of defense when it comes to emergency response and public safety threats. Every day they work to protect those around them, providing not only peace of mind, but physical protection as well. They play many roles in their interactions with clients, public citizens, and businesses – from concierge and customer service representatives to safety and protection specialists.

Unfortunately, security officers, as well as many other service industry workers, often go unrecognized for their work on the front line and especially behind the scenes. It is important that we recognize these security officers for what they are – everyday heroes.

At St. Moritz, we do our best to express our gratitude and appreciation to our security officers for their hard work. Whether in the form of an appreciation post to our social media, internal announcement or thank you card – we want our officers to know how important they are to our operation and the communities they serve.

Here’s how YOU can thank your local security officer(s):

  • Give them a smile!
  • Say “Thank You” and/or “Have A Great Day!”
  • Have a brief conversation with them – ask how their day is going
  • Give them a small gift such as a thank you card or gift card
  • Express your gratitude for the positive difference they are making in the local community
  • Tell them how much you appreciate their service
  • All of the above! 🙂

Thanking a security officer is THAT SIMPLE! Even the smallest expression of gratitude, kindness and thanks goes a long way and can completely change someone’s day for the better.

Think we’re a good fit? Submit your information & we will be in touch soon!
